When I read an argument about the relative quality of Auburn's engineering programs that is based on a self-professed Aubie hater's anecdotes from 20-25 years ago, I have to ask myself: Is said argument a waste of bandwidth? Does it add anything to the Board?

I used to nire new grad engineers from both Bama and Aubie for my company, back in the late 70's and early 80's when I was down at the Cape, doing Space Shuttle GSE design engineering.
Hired EE's, ME's and CE's from both schools and guess what.....the caliber of engineering was not one iota different from one school nor the other.
