I think it's fair to say that the mid-90s Wayne's Board was unlike anything else on the net in those fledgling days of message boarding. That was before every school had boards, before Rivals.com, before sites with real content. Everything we did was basically fresh and innovative. Not everyone had PCs at home, an some had them at home and not at work. It was novel to visit an opponent's board and there were times at night when a few of us would make a "road trip" over to the Vent or some other board and begin our own threads about nothing and completely baffle the regs who had no idea what hit them. I can remember doing that with Wayne and fatman a few times and it was a blast. Names I remember are (I'm talking the original bunch):
Of course Wayne, fatman, sobertiger, TIGERTIME! (man, he hated me like poison), Old Tiger, zip code Cane, Mississippi Tiger, dabble, Tigress, WDE, WPB Tiger (Hobbes...fatman wannabe), GuavaGator (Flea), Chipola....who else? There were a bunch who came along in the next wave...but I'm talkingthe 95/96 crew.
