Mr. Housel,
I am a graduate of Auburn University, BSCS 1984. I have listened to your comments made prior to last year's Alabama game and found them quite embarrassing. I had not heard them until this year. My father, who passed away in 1997, was a graduate of the University of Alabama. I was quite offended by your comparison of the Alabama game to the Vietnam War and Adolf Hitler. It is hard to believe that someone of your position could stoop so low as to compare Alabama people to Nazis.
On the latest issue of Coach Tubberville, why can't you just tell the truth? Come clean? We all know what really happened. We are not stupid. It has become quite obvious to me that someone bigger is running the show down there. Someone who is crippling the University and in time will destroy the fine institution where I spent the best part of my life. How did it get this way?
