The Fret Monkies Speak from almost beyond the grave. This season has been a disaster. The monkies were led to believe that we would compete for the MNC – and here we are hoping to beat a 4-7 Bama team. Wow. Worlds do collide and I am ignoring Newton and the String Theory. My world collided when I turned down a free ticket to the AU-UA game. A 7 hour drive said: “Stay at home. Avoid the pain. Maybe TBS will show a movie I have seen 18 times since August.”
I don’t care who wins. I don’t care who loses. AU has been the loser. In the middle of the season the monkies felt sure that we would arise from the USC, GaTech defeats and do well. After all – we had the Four Horsemen. We had the RBs to do the job. But we got the imaginary blow job. Like the Russians when Catherine the Great went around buying art – and then said: “Only the mice and I enjoy this.” It means the same to the people who pay the bills - the people who harvest the wheat. And screw Lamarckism. It does not work - just ask Stalin....in his rusty cell in hell.
Screw him. And screw Finebaum’s ass-cheese-monkey-boy-who-likey-the-poi-poi journalism. TT needs to go. The Main Monkey has spoken. If he is back – I will surrender to the same gods that gave Trent Dilfer a Super Bowl Championship Ring – but did not give one to Dan Marino.
