When you first said "I would bet but the folks here at Wayne might miss me too much if I couldn't post until February," what you meant was, "I am too honorable to take points from an Aubie." See, most folks took that as, "I am scared I might lose." How dense we all were to fail to see that you just hate point spreads.
Then, when you posted this, we thought you believed, like Bear's Boy, that you should be getting more points.

Now, you inform us that the real problem you had with the spread was that it was too high in Bama's favor. Yeah, that's the ticket. Of course. You were just trying to be fair.
The fact that IT and BB took the bet before you had nothing to do with your eventual decision, I am sure. It was simply an issue of honor all along. How silly of me to think otherwise. I am sure Hobbes is now ashamed of himself for teasing you like that.
A psychological question still remains, however: do you actually believe your own bull#badword#?
