The reason Tub started asking fans to wear orange is the same reason he asked Ole Miss fans to wear Red. It shows up better in the stands than navy and it really stands out on TV.
It lets the team know that a lot of Auburn fans are in the stands. You people bitching about it are stupid. So stop it, unless it is your intent to look stupid---wait I take that back---"intent" implies cognitive ability and foresight.
I've been wearing, in cold weather, a long sleeve flannel orange shirt to Auburn games since 1985. I am not stopping now.
