I knew we were screwed when on the first play from scrimmage we got the fancy, smancy, I'm-gonna-make-all-my-backs-happy, stupid coaching blues. Gentlemen, if we come out with Brandon and Carnell and RUN THE DAMN BALL we are at least in the damn game. There is no INT on our own end. There is no huge momentum loss. And we might still lose but 21-20 or something like that. The last time I saw such an OBVIOUS coaching BLUNDER was Penn St in the Citrus Bowl. So we simply let USC's coaches funnel us into our weakness. AND BOY IS IT WEAK! Jason STILL cannot let the ball go. But on the rare occassion that he does the damn receivers drop the ball. Needless to say we decided to put weakest foot forward when we came out with Ronnie and Caddy in the backfield. I mean every DAMN time we put Brandon and ANYBODY in the game and RAN THE BALL we gained yards. So we are down 10-0 at the half, no reason to panick . . . get you blocking assignments right, and sooner or later that blitz from the outside will get burned and Caddy will take it home..... So what do we do . . . NOT ONE DAMN RUNNING PLAY IN THE FIRST TWO SERIES!!!! Obviously USC is good but our coaches made them look at lot damn better than the TampaBay Bucs. Heads ought to roll for this.
