So, Army Aviation is having a bad year accident wise and my Boss was asked to go to DC and meet with several Congressmen and Senators to discuss. He has only been in the job for a meonth so he said I was going with him. The "Team" that went around to all these offices was MajGen Mac McCurry, Commander Fort Novosel, BrigGen John Byrom, Commander US Army Safety Center, and yours truly, Director of Analysis and Prevention at the Safety Center. Walked eight miles in dress shoes that day, met a couple of really impressive people, and visited the Senior Senator from the state of Alabama.
