hospital just gave him.... its a ...drum roll please..... monkey.
Akex looks pretty darn good ...left eye swollen shut and has bandage around head (not sure why)....and has oxygen tube in his nose....
they are still in process of weaning him from medication/sedatives....once he gets to another room, PT will start in earnest..
they have disconnected dialysis machine during the day and back on at night...they will get him off completely in a day or two.
he will have to have one more surgery before he is discharged, to put new nourishment line in chest.
