Tate Johnson is as good as Brahms quicker laterally good hands and head placement. The left side of the line is strong and moves well. Run blocking is good across the front.
When TJ is confident he is as good as any quarterback we have had in the last 4 years and he is a load. I like Ashford coming in and giving a quick burst run attack watching this development will be fun.

Receivers run great routes and play full out every play no matter their option number. THIS IS 100% IMPROVEMENT! They play like Canella.
Defensive line has improved good movement and quickness and the Inside tackle/ noseguard occupies 2 blockers. That allows the linebackers to run. We have not had this in 3 years.
Linebackers are fast and get downhill better than last season.
Secondary looks good in man coverage. Hats off to the SJSU receivers for making some tough catches against really strong coverage.
This team has all the makings of being special and overachieving. Greater than the sum of its parts.
