Auburn competed in the Final Four for the first time. .....“we belonged,..We had as many fans there as anybody else did. Our basketball team belonged. And when you’re coaching basketball at Auburn, the biggest thing you’re fighting is credibility. People, prospects, they’d laugh at me when I first got there and told them what I thought we could do. They’re not laughing anymore.”
