Not counting any coaches or players, what do you miss about AU football?

I woke up this morning thinking about how, for the first time in decades, I haven't attended an Auburn football game this season.... and it's almost November.  I then began thinking about stuff that I miss about all those games I have attended in the past (that became "the past" way too quickly).

Just silly simple things like the one guy in our area of section 43 that would always be listening to the bammer games on his radio.  We all knew when he randomly jumped up and cheered, that something bad had happened to bammer. :)  He would always be the one to break the good news that would spread quickly through the crowd.

Tailgating without a big screen and satellite hookup.

On the scoreboard, the cartoon Tiger rubbing his eyes with the caption "Did you see that?"  (after a big AU defensive play).

Just silly simple things, I know... but so much better than the blaring noise from the Jumbotron that is so loud that I can't hear the person next to me when they are talking (yelling) to me.

Many more things... these just popped into my thoughts this morning.

And I almost forgot my favorite thing about AU football games.... seeing children wearing a #7 or #88 Auburn football jersey.

That my wife never got to Auburn. I took her to gville when we Duval beat the gaters twice. Was fun. Took her the Auburn WVU game that got rained out. She stayed back in Peachtree bc she and the other mother's didn't want to take the kids out that night. So I went with the guys

I had tickets for us hotel and flight to see Auburn play in mnc game vs Oregon. that week my sister  set for sittingf. But she had very bad miscarriage became very ill and couldn't fly. So I sold my tickets and stayed with her.

She was diagnosed with stage 4 stomach cancer two months later. And was too ill thereafter. She always wanted to see it because she knew I loved it.

I miss getting that Auburn memory with her
