^^this^^ best friend is a 73 captain and agrees that training on non US / Europe
Airlines is not as good. While he flies the 800 version not the Max 8 / or the 800 ETOPS - he said the situaltion is similar to a pilot believing his eyes and not the artificial horizon. Southwest is flying these very planes in / out of Chicago Midway & Dallas Love with no issues, both airports have shorter than normal runways, and higher than normal takeoff angles.
