Better that people talk, yell, speak, debate one another . . . than to run off to their FB protected shells to hear only things that make them happy. There is a world full of possibilities and opinions . . .

That depends on your definition of "Lounginess." If by Lounginess, you mean a major slant towards political threads, then I am inclined to agree. When I first began poasting here, political discussion was probably WHAB's mainstream, with major tributaries of mildly retarded philosophy, and some fishable backwaters of recipes. Occasionally, one would even happen upon a puddle of sports discussion.
But, if by Lounginess you mean propensity for suckitude, I must object and part ways with your comparison. While the WHAB gives sucking the old college try; while we've had some great weeks of practice at sucking; while we are often flying around out there when we attempt to suck, we are, in the end, rank amateurs, doomed to second place or worse in the contest for the Hoover Upright Cup.
The Lounge is undefeated.
