What is wrong with kale for red-state America? It is a superior salad green. All those ridges and folds hold your sunflower seeds, other cruchy toppings and salad dressing like no other green. It supercharges teh flavor. You don't like salad dressing? Of course you do. Don't be ridiculous. Iceberg lettuce is the horse-drawn buggy of salad greens. #badword# iceberg.
