Did They Really Want This....
or was it more a case of "They don't want that"? The ones that purposefully admit they wanted this are fewer than you think. I think its more along the vein of we don't want "her" that resulted in trump's box being checked. We're at phase II of the process of ultimately getting a 3rd party candidate elected. Not a tea-party nutjob as we've already seen how that works, but a legitimate, constitutionally and fiscally disciplined candidate in the highest office.
Phase I was finally refusing to go along with status quo. Lessons learned (forthcoming) will be you don't elect a self-centered, egotistical, msyogenistic nutjob to keep said status quo/ hated candidate out of office. I figure in another decade or 8 we and the "majority" will finally ALL start checking that 3rd party checkbox....

There were a metric ass ton of D candidates who would have beaten Trump.
Hell, if the Ds had nominated a ham sandwich, it would have beaten Trump.
But they, in all of their wisdom, decided to run the one thing on the planet capable of losing to Donald Trump.
