Thank you for being a hell of a coach and an even better human being. Thank you for showing us all that we've been pronouncing Arkansas wrong this whole time. Thank you for all the wonderful fake field goals and punts, approximately 99% of which occurred against Florida. Thank you for referring to everything from opponents to back bruises as "quality". Thank you for all the wins, and the often astonishing ways in which they occurred. Thank you for the press conferences... Oh my God, thank you for the press conferences. Thank you for competitors competing competitively. Thank you for the 2007 Florida game, which should be on everyone's list of best games ever. Thank you for having a want to redefine the English language. Thank you for all the times you trusted your damn strong football team, whether it always worked or not. Thank you for the joy and enthusiasm you always brought to the game. Thank you for teaching us all that we didn't know how to clap properly either. Thank you for showing us all how to get closer to nature by just having a taste of it every now and again. Thank you for embracing Louisiana so thoroughly even though you arrived here just in time for our darkest hour. Thank you for never losing to UAB. Thank you for explaining Columbus Day to us all. Thank you for that 2011 team, which for 13 glorious weeks may have been the best damn team to ever take a football field. Thank you for all the memories. There are far, far more good than bad.
