Not sure if that's been mentioned here or not. That would make 2014-2016 Ole Miss have the longest winning streak over Alabama by any current or past SEC Team with the exception of: Tennessee 1995-2001 (seven) Auburn 2002-2007 (six) Sewanee 1896-1911 (six)* Georgia 1910-1916 (five) LSU 2003-2007 (five) Auburn 1954-1958 (five) Vanderbilt 1903-1919 (five)** Georgia Tech 1954-1957 (four) Tennessee 2003-2006 (four)*** Tennessee 1982-1985 (four) Tennesse 1967-1970 (four) Tennessee 1955-1958 (four)**** Auburn 1895-1902 (four) Florida 1993-1998(four) Auburn 1986-89 (four) And with a victory Saturday Ole Miss will move in that elite territory of an SEC team that has beaten Bama three straight times, joining such luminaries as Mississippi State (numerous occasions) and Tulane (at least once) and breaking the tie with Arkansas (who beat Bama two times in a row, as did 1969-1970 Auburn). And moving outside of the conference we can see that Ole Miss will move ahead of Southern Miss (who had a two game winning streak over Bama at some point). Yay Ole Miss. * Win streak broken by a tie, then Sewanee reeled off two more victories. **In the late 1940's Vanderbilt had an unbeaten streak against Bama of four games but there was tie involved. *** Includes a forfeit. Yay --fun with numbers to get an outcome I like, tell StatsTiger should keep his day job. ****UT's win streak came to an end with a tie.
