doc had removed the stomach suction tube that he has had since the operation at 36 hours old.....they did another GIU xray yesterday afternoon... results just came back....intestines look good although they didnt detect air in bowels but that may be from suction tube that was in belly....gonna do another GIU tomorrow now that suction removed.. ....if he keeps pooping an peeing like he has been, the doc said we can rule out megacystic microcolon....if he doesnt vomit in the next 24 hours, they can start feeding him moma's milk....gawd that would be huge...doc said he has one of the biggest bladders he has ever seen in a new born and thats the next issue, but my son said he is peeing more on his own, and the in and out catheter draining less.
Its amazing what has transpired with that child since Saturday afternoon. Praying that he is on his way to full recovery and can get home where he belongs. BB
