The flag and shells from dad's funeral

==============================
In honor of dad's 22 years in the Marine Corps (as well as 2 tours of Vietnam), dad got a Marine Corps Honor guard- led by a Lt. Col., 1st Sgt., 2 staff sergeants, a buck sergeant, and 3 PFC's.

They played Taps, and he had a 21 gun salute. At the end of the service, the Lt. Col. gave the flag to my sister (who was 4 years old when he left for his 2nd tour of Vietnam), and told her:
"On behalf of the President of the United States, the Commandant of the Marine Corps, and a grateful nation, please accept this flag as a symbol of our appreciation for your loved one's service to Country and Corps.".
I get chills thinking about it.
