He was sitting in the seat in front of me on a bus after we had just beaten Texas A&M at College Station a few years ago. He predicted we would win out the rest of our regular season. We did. He was correct.
And then there was this time I saw him on an Iron Bowl pre-game-special on TV back in the late 70's. A round table discussion that included both AU & bammer former players. A former bammer player asked Terry when AU fans would finally quit talking about the 17-16 game. His response was, "When you guys quit singing about winning the Rose Bowl."
