...he fought cancer for...I don't know.....4-5 years it seems. Doctors in the US told him they couldn't help him anymore, so he flew off to the Netherlands a few years ago....Great guy, always smiling...one of those guys that you couldn't help but like when you first met him.
I met him several years ago in Ft. Walton Beach through some mutual friends and spent a lot of time with him for a couple of summers before he became sick. We talked a lot of AU football and drank a few beers together...
