in NYC and LA. The case for the sexual morality to which I adhere is theologically based. Same with the origin of and values of human life. How do I seek to persuade citizens in a pluralistic society, who do not share my foundation to sign on to my view of morality? This is a tricky matter. Quo vadis XNS?
The people initiating this suit do not know who they are or why they are bringing it. They are part of the vanishing almost XN tribe.
At one time views on SSM in America were more in line with what mine are and would have been signed off on by the current POTUS at the time of his election, by most if not all of the current candidates for POTUS and by most of the unelected speaking aristocracy in the US. This shift came quickly. Americans who were not personally XN -- and most are not -- held XY as a type of folk religion and shared at least spoken -- if not practiced -- allegiance to many of its ethical constructions. America is more self consciously secular and now XY has a moment to stand and re-discover what our message truly is.
We traded our news of a crucified and risen Savior for something called "family values" and so now we need to recover the central NT gospel and stand on that.
