So last Thursday my daughter wants to watch the Auburn game, wife as out with her ladies' poker night thingie (don't ask) and son is in class and then doing the post class thingie (again don't ask)
So its just me and daughter watching. I tell her that she has to go to bed after half time. She whines, wants to watch the whole game and it is not fair she wants to see who wins.
I tell her that I feel her pain, that when I was 11 I had to go to bed after watching the half time highlights of Monday Night football, that AUBJ and AUMeme made me go to bed and I didn't like it but that's life when you're 11 years old.
She says "Yeah but dad, Monday Night football was the NFL, not Auburn, I bet grampaw would let you stay up if it was Auburn." She then offered to call AUMeme to see if that was so.
She went to bed, but kept coming out to get water so she could peep at the score.
