Seriously, it is scary how many have jumped on the flag elimination as the one thing we can do to heal and deal with our past; it is all mob mentality and one with a half way open mind would see what this guy is saying about context. And where this type of mob mentality ultimately leads.

But what I am in favor of is removing the confederate battle flag from government buildings that were put up by racist segregationist politicians. Not sure how removing them offends history. That is the context that surrounds the flags that were hoisted at the Alabama capitol and at the Carolina Statehouse.
Someone wants to tattoo the flag in the tramp stamp position then have at it. People want to fly it from their house or from huge flag poles bordering I-65 or US 27 then that's great, that's their right. WAL*MART doesn't want to sell it, then big whoop.
