my experience is only from being a single father of a boy.
and this is a macro polo stmt.
I think why so many young men are having a more difficult time being raised by single moms.
but boys need to be soldiered. women do not do as good a job as
men at being generals. knowing when to push and when to
relax the rules a bit. when to get them to march 'now'.
moms are great at many other things.
but being the good general for young boys is hard for them. it does not come naturally. their mothering / nurturing instincts gain too much traction in their daily operations.
nothing new here: this to me is another reason why it is best, and not always can be done, but best for the children to have a mother and father at home.
