Today's sort of movie thread
Gonna turn yesterday’s subject around. Who was/is the best actor who formerly gained fame as an athlete? And by fame I mean time in the NFL, NBA, MLB, or NHL not just was a college athlete. There are a bunch of guys who played college football- Mark Harmon, Carl Weathers, Burt Reynolds come quickly to mind. But those guys were never known as athletes on a national level before becoming actors. Another guy you may not know about his athletic prowess is Chuck Connors of Rifleman fame. He played in the NBA and also played professional baseball but no one remembers that part of his life. I’ll let you guys decide if Body Builders and Wrestlers are professional athletes as that opens up a bunch of names.
Let’s not limit this to movies today so there will be more to discuss.
